Downtown Austin is currently undergoing another massive change. In what will be one of downtown’s tallest buildings, The Fairmont Hotel will tower at 700 feet with more than 50 stories and should break ground in 2013. Other highlights include the new central library, 3 Eleven Bowie (apts, office and retail), the JW Marriott Hotel and some interesting art projects.
