Everyone who runs and bikes along Lady Bird Lake know about the 1.1 mile gap in the trail where you are then forced to run on pavement along Riverside Drive.
The Boardwalk will solve that problem and create a wonderful experience where you can run along an elevated path along the banks of the river.
After a long delay, progress is started to really pick up. I’ve enclosed pictures from the Trail Foundation’s website as the boardwalk was being constructed along with a detailed report of the construction plans.
